Colloquium with the Right Honourable Pere Aragonès
132nd President of the Government of Catalonia
We held an institutional colloquium at the Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona with the 132nd President of the Government of Catalonia, Pere Aragonès. The meeting focused on reflecting on the country’s main political, economic and institutional challenges. It was a close and thoughtful conversation that highlighted the importance of commitment, civic engagement and realistic hope as driving forces for building the future of Catalonia.
Visit to the United States Consulate
Colloquium with Nicole Finnemann
The institution took part in a dialogue with the United States Consul for Public Diplomacy in Barcelona, Nicole Finnemann, to analyse American foreign policy and its global impact. The conversation focused on how the new administration’s emphasis on security challenges institutions such as the UN and NATO, while reaffirming the need for constant critical analysis to ensure their evolution.


Visit to Vueling
We visited Vueling’s corporate headquarters to gain first-hand insight into the internal operations of an airline with a clearly innovative DNA. The meeting with teams from Public Affairs, IT, Sustainability and Emergency Management offered us a cross-cutting view of the challenges facing the aviation sector and of the central role played by technology, sustainability and real-time decision-making.
Visit to La Vanguardia

We visited La Vanguardia and shared a colloquium with its director, Jordi Juan. The conversation focused on the challenges of contemporary journalism, the transformation of media formats and the responsibility of the press within a constantly evolving communication ecosystem.

Round Table on Innovation
We held a joint session between Llotja Catalunya and DebatUPC to bring young talent closer to the country’s business and technological leadership. The meeting focused on connecting vision, commitment and innovation as drivers of progress and opportunity for new generations. Participants included technologist Anna Navarro i Descals, former President of the AGBAR Group and former Executive Board Member of Criteria, Ángel Simón, and the Chief Operating Officer of THEKER Robotics, Albert Badias Losa.
Visit to the Parliament of Catalonia
With the Right Honourable President Josep Rull
At the Parliament of Catalonia, we shared a session with the Right Honourable Josep Rull as part of our commitment to bringing young talent closer to the country’s institutions. The meeting invited participants to reflect on the need to give value to effort, so that constant work and commitment may be recognised in a society that values perseverance and merit.


Meeting with the HM Jaume Giró
Llotja Catalunya held a meeting with HC Jaume Giró to reflect on the value of effort, meritocracy and the role of young talent in the economic and social development of the country. A session that highlighted the importance of intergenerational dialogue and the need to build an economy based on responsibility and opportunities for all.

During this visit we learned about the inner workings of a leading media outlet. We spoke with professionals in the sector about journalism, public opinion and disinformation.


Organization of the Llotja Debate League
Together with several debate clubs from universities in Catalonia, we were able to organize a Debate League and reflect together on the role of social networks in the democratization process, as well as the challenges that this phenomenon poses to society and university youth.
Institutional reception with Jaume Collboni
Mayor of Barcelona
Mayor Jaume Collboni received a delegation from Llotja Catalunya at the City Hall. The meeting served to present our project and discuss the role of young people in the future of the city.

In a second, more participatory meeting, we organized a round table with Artur Mas to debate with young people about leadership, power management and civic commitment, while sharing collective reflections.
Visit to the Barcelona Association of Shipping Agents
During the visit, we delved into the key role of this association in maritime trade and international logistics. We learned, from its manager Alex Ferrandiz, about the functioning of port activity and the future prospects of the Port of Barcelona.
